With Storyboards, creative teams can visualize their ideas early in the production process—and now manage their final shot selections and approvals too. Storyboards help map out your campaign, organize selects, and communicate your vision clearly to your teams and external partners.

Why use a Storyboard?

  • Visualize your campaign from start to finish

  • Collaborate on selects and alternates

  • Streamline approvals with clients and execs

  • Share only what matters—your curated selects

How to Create a Storyboard

  1. Navigate to the project for which you'd like to create a Storyboard.

  2. Click into the Storyboard tab.

  3. Click New Storyboard to create one from scratch.

  4. Add scenes and drag shots into each scene. We recommend including alternates for flexibility.

  5. You can duplicate Storyboards to test different sequences.

Enhanced Features in Storyboards

  • Reorder shots to build a sequence.

  • Add notes and voiceover cues to guide the edit.

  • Download Select comps to include in decks or share internally.

  • Generate a Rip Reel to view your Storyboard in motion.

  • Present Selects via public share links to clients and stakeholders. ADD URL

How to Archive a Storyboard

  1. Click the ... icon on the top right of a Storyboard.

  2. Select Archive.

    • All shots in that Storyboard will be automatically unselected.

    • If the Storyboard had a public share link, it will be disabled.

This is helpful for version control—ensuring that only your most up-to-date selects are visible to clients and stakeholders.

Storyboards evolve with your edit. Use them early to map your idea, and later to finalize and present it.
