The Creator Community is Catch+Release’s network of creators who have opted into commercial licensing. These creators are typically faster to approve usage requests, helping you move quickly and license with greater confidence.

This guide explains how to search for content and save shots directly to your project.

Step 1: Start your search

Go to catchandrelease.com/discover to browse Creator Community content.

Use the search bar to explore by:

  • Mood: e.g., “nostalgic”, “joyful”

  • Topic: e.g., “girls trip to Nashville”

  • Style: e.g., “moody cinematic”, “Polaroid film”

💡 Tip: Combine moods, topics, and styles for sharper results, like “sunset surf session” or “urban drone b-roll.”

Step 2: Filter your results

Use the filters to narrow your search by:

  • Media type: Photo or video

  • Source: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Direct Upload

Filtering helps you surface the most relevant content quickly.

Step 3: Save to your project

When you find a shot you want to keep:

  1. Click the Save button

  2. Choose an existing project or create a new one

  3. Saved shots will be tagged with Creator Community for easy tracking

Once saved, you can:

  • Download comps

  • Mark selects

  • Add to a storyboard

  • Set usage

  • Request clearance

💡 Pro Tip: Saving early gives your team a head start on clearance planning.
