To connect your Instagram account to our app, you’ll need to use an Instagram Professional account.
An Instagram Professional account offers special features on Instagram like analytics, promotional tools, and easy contact options. Switching to a Professional account will make your Instagram profile public if it isn’t already.
If your account isn’t already set up as a Professional account, you’ll be able to make the switch while connecting your account to Catch+Release.

Step 1. Reconnect or Connect a New Account
Go to your Workspace and scroll down to your connected Accounts.
To reconnect a disconnected Instagram account, click "Reconnect."
Otherwise, click "Add Account" and then click "Instagram."
Step 2. Follow Instagram's Prompts to switch your Instagram account to a Professional Account.
Note: If your Instagram account is already a Professional account, this step will be skipped automatically.
You will be routed to Instagram.com in your browser.

Follow Instagram's steps to switch your Instagram account to a professional account:
Confirm you want to change to a professional account
Choose either a Creator or Business type
Choose a category that best describes you
Click "Done" to finish the setup and continue connecting to Catch+Release
Step 3. Confirm that you want to give Catch+Release access to your Instagram content.
Click "Allow" to grant Catch+Release access to your Instagram content.
After completing this step, you will be routed back to Catch+Release.

Can I switch back to a personal account later?
Yes, you can switch your Instagram account back to a personal account, but your Instagram account will become disconnected from Catch+Release. This means that any content you post on Instagram in the future will not be imported into Catch+Release.
